RIVER DEE, CARROG NEAR CORWEN:
About one mile of single bank. Three recognised salmon holding pools with further pools in high water. All are excellent fly water. Salmon fishing 3rd March to 17th October, best months usually September, October. Any legal method allowed for salmon fishing. Sea trout fishing can be good and is largely unexploited, night fishing for sea trout is permitted.
Trout fishing is strictly fly only. Excellent grayling fishing with fish up to 3 pounds caught every year. bait fishing is permitted for grayling between 18th Oct and 2nd March otherwise fly only.

RIVER ELWY,NEAR ST ASAPH:
About 3/4 mile mostly double bank fishing .Good sea trout from June onwards depending on water conditions. Some early salmon but salmon fishing usually best in September/October.
LAKE FISHING, NEAR HOLMES CHAPEL:
A 35 acre lake in pleasant surroundings stocked with rainbow trout.Bank and boat fishing available. Fishing must be pre-booked and is strictly fly only with barbless hooks.
BALA ANGLING CLUB WATERS:
Five block permits are available for members to use. These permits give access to some good fishing in the Bala area. Fishing includes, River Dee, River Treweryn, Bala lake, Llyn Treweryn and various other small rivers.
